Do more with trusted data

New Capabilities for the Cloud Version

New capabilities for the Collibra Data Intelligence Cloud that enhance search, collaboration, business process automation, and analytics, as well as brand new products that support customers with data access governance and data quality and observability in the cloud, are all part of the wave of new innovations that Collibra is introducing with the intention of making data intelligence easier to use and more accessible to a greater number of data users. These new capabilities for the Collibra Data Intelligence Cloud include:

The Collibra Data Intelligence Cloud integrates a data catalog designed for enterprise use, data lineage, flexible governance, continuous quality assurance, and built-in data privacy protections.

Making it Easier for Users

According to Laura Sellers, chief product officer for Collibra, "We are building products and capabilities with an eye to making data intelligence easier for our customers. This includes making it easier for our customers to get started, easier to use and manage, and easier to securely and cost-effectively scale to support even across the most demanding use cases." "Because they make trusted data accessible to more users, across more use cases, and more data sources on a truly enterprise-grade, full data intelligence platform, we are quite thrilled about these new advancements," said the company.

According to the company, the introduction of a new data marketplace, usage insights, and richly tailored experiences ensures that all users, even those who do not have a background in data, can easily find, understand, and access data in order to deliver better business outcomes. This is the case even for users who do not have a background in data.

The features of advanced process automation make it possible for data teams to simply build and implement workflows, which in turn helps to improve productivity and streamline procedures. Among the new features are:

  • When a user logs in to the Collibra Data Intelligence Cloud, the new homepage offers a streamlined and personalized experience that is complete with insights, links, widgets, and recommendations on datasets based on the user's browsing history or what is popular. This allows the user to quickly find what they are looking for.

  • Workflow Designer (Beta): The new Workflow Designer, which is now available in beta, makes it simpler for teams to collaborate on the creation and implementation of new workflows in order to automate business procedures. Workflow Designer now opens to a new App Model view, which users can easily build, verify, and deploy a bundle of processes or forms to streamline work. Workflow Designer is accessible from within Collibra Data Intelligence Cloud.

  • Data Marketplace: The recently released Collibra Data Marketplace makes it simpler and more expedient than ever before for teams to surface data that has been filtered and approved, allowing those teams to make more confident and trustworthy judgments. Because it takes full advantage of the power of the Collibra metadata graph, the Collibra Anything Marketplace makes it as simple as executing a quick Google search to locate, understand, and collaborate on data that is contained within the Collibra Data Catalog.

  • Usage Analytics: The new Usage Analytics dashboard provides organizations with real-time actionable insights on which communities, domains, and assets are being used the most widely across users over a period of time. With this information, teams are able to proactively monitor adoption and take the necessary actions to help maximize their data intelligence investments.

Supporting Data Shift to the Cloud

Organizations are continuing to shift their data to the cloud in order to decrease costs and reap the benefits of improved performance, scale, and security as the amount, variety, and velocity of data continue to expand. In order to assist in quickening this journey, Collibra is introducing a number of new solutions in as well as a number of new integrations, such as the following:
